Building the Next Generation of Leaders in Aging Services.
LeadingAge Ohio's Leadership Academy is a 7-month program designed to strengthen and accelerate the growth of rising leaders in aging services.
The Academy includes four two-day retreats at member communities across Ohio, each focused on a specific leadership theme:
- Discovering Your Authentic Leadership
- Building Effective Teams
- Leading Change and Innovation
- Creating Effective Partnerships
Fellows gain hands-on experience through site visits, personalized coaching and mentorship, and “Leaders in Residence” sessions with seasoned professionals. Over the course of the program, fellows will also develop their own Action Learning Project that responds to a challenge or opportunity within their organization.
The program is open to employees of LeadingAge Ohio provider and associate member organizations, regardless of job title or background. Selection is based on leadership potential, commitment to aging services, and dedication to lifelong learning.
